♦ BIGBANG 19TH BURFDAY!!

Well lookie here, after 365 days of waiting for the 1st of July to come around again - it finally did! *wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee*

and I know you guys waited for this post for 3 days already
apologies.

I must say that I did truly enjoy this 19th burfday of mine, well I better! Cos it's already my last year as a teenager. From everybody's burfday wishes to those five burfday celebrations, I went to sleep with a smile by the end of 1st July.

First up was a surprise burfday party by a group of amazing people that made go "wuhh??" upon seeing so many of them. =D

dang, I got fooled!

A BBQ steamboat is what we had but it took me quite a while to actually register in my mind as to how this whole surprised was planned.

And these three greedy peeps ate like there was no tomorrow!
(especially the one on the left, pervertic glutton)

When everyone was already eating, my thoughts were still dazed in mid-air.
whoa.
dumbfounded
So it was all planned out and I didn't know??

My first cake of the year~!
(and counting)

With much joy & merry-making

"I wish that the cake goes nowhere else but
ONLY into my mouth"

*wishful thinking* O yes! Nothing is happening =) I think I'm safe?

BUT...

You see? You see? This woman with the evil stare??
I know fo shure as hell that she wants to harm me with the cake

With the godforsaken ritual THAT NOBODY GETS TIRED OF :

I got face-caked.
And I can bet my bottom dollar that there's more to come *sigh*
Oh well, all part of the fun no?

Who wouldn't wanna share the fun?

Nyeheheh.. have some sweetheart!
Sharing IS caring, you know =P
(and your face was too clean - too tempting for me to cake you)

We all then parted ways and some of us headed down to UPR. Where there was a Jungle Fever party held, where I managed to capture a picture with this magnificent python! Such a beauty, dontcha think?

Looks like there's TWO snakes in the house!
That's my zodiac and I having a coiled bonding session
=)

Oh and..
Rachel was at LEAST 10feet away from me
I swear.

We then chilled at the new unplugged bar and restaurant - Soi II opposite Mois where I unwrapped my prezzies :

Sim folded me a transparent box of agazzillion tiny stars from coloured paper Gosh that's so much work & time *hugss*

Bestie Rach, Carter & Vincent all chipped in for this marvelous present
... which made us go :

ROFLMAOLOL
(good shot Sim, stealth-moding us huh?)

And guess what picture made us LAUGH like a buncha psychopath escapees?
None other than -
'The MamakVinz picture'

It's an inside joke but... if you would like to see it.. then.. oh no wait, you shouldn't.
Vincent would skin me alive.

Hmm... jokes aside, she invested her time to make me
eight photo mobiles!

I absolutely love it.

Look!
It's temporarily hanging in my wardrobe now, waiting to be hung on my bedroom wall
*wheeeeee*

That's not all..
Bestie Joyce, Gavin & KXin bought me a lovely top from Forever21.
It's really hawt hawt hawt and I know one must have guts to wear that out
*winks*
Must've costed them a bomb but I love it~!

[no pictures of me in it. too dangerous]
o_0
*sticks out tongue*

Many thanks, hugs & kisses to these awesome bosom buddies who were the masterminds of my burfday surprise:

I *heart* you both soso much~! ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

And of course, my other half too ♥ ♥ ♥

But what is a burfday without the fun-loving people?

a superultramegagigatera Thank You
to you guys fer making it happen~!

RAWR!

The next celebration was on a much larger scale - held at a hotel ballroom.

Aunt Jeannie (mum's colleague)
Still lookin hawt after all these years!

With a grand opening of food entrance

Grand occasion no? Only that it wasn't mine. =D
It was a wedding dinner that I dropped by just to accompany mum

Now, back to my burfday..

Held @ Mois, Number One Penang Road.
Where the party never stops!

Danced like there was no tomorrow

My old schoolmates from HighSchool were there too!

So were our juniors!

The mad bunch =D

Daniel dear.... YOU CAME~!!!!

*wheeeeeeeee*
(Jack in the background obviously jealous for not having his picture taken. He himself admitted it on Facebook!)
Check it out - here

We've only got 4 MINUTES to SAVE THE WORLD~

Bestie Rach & I

There was some double effect going on as well

Me in between the TWO Adrian Ngs

us, the TWO JESSICAs

As the normal burfday tradition goes,
the burfday gurl MUST be made drunk,
likewise to 'the burfday gurl MUST have their face in the cake'.

So anyhow, I MADE PRETTY DAMN SURE that I wasn't made drunk by the end of the night. Hey, I WANT to remember my burfday well.. not waking up from a hangover.

And as promised, by the end of the night-

Now, that wasn't as hard as I thought *grins*
^_^

and the proceeding countdown burfday celebration by the beach -

COUNT WITH ME!
10... 9...

My Apple Crumble burfday cake!
(pretty, no?)
^_^

8...7...6..

But even prettier, my burfday present :

A whole bottle of Chivas Regal! *wootwoot*

from Adrian snappy crocodile Ng!
Haha, don't bother.. it's some stupid inside joke.
Thanks lots Croc~!

5...4...

3...2... 1 ...
*clock strikes twelve midnight*

I'm nineteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen~!!!!!

After all the partyin with my buddies, it's time to have some warm & special time with Sweetheart - we spent the whole of my special 1st July together just like he does every year =D

And took me out for Haagen Daaz, one of my faves~!

Hmm.. what's that you're ordering?
Looks good!
Do me the honours of pouring the hot chocolate fondue?

Why, thank you sweetheart =*

It was aptly named :

Brownie Explosion - decadent warm chocolate brownies served with scoops of Tiramisu and Cookies & Creme signature ice-cream draped in indulgent hot chocolate fondue

*hugs & kisses* to you love~!

That special someone then went bought me my burfday present that I've been longing for quite some time now

Hmm.. what's that pretty box by my lappy?

It's the limited edition tiny ENVO from PenDrive!
Love it soso much Hun, I love everything tribal.
And my current pendrive is so worn out as though mice had
chewed on it for 40days and 40nights

And then off to dinner with mum.. at TGI Fridays!

Benjica collision with the wacky crew at Fridays

Yet another burfday cake?

That's my forth one this year!
Damn all these shugga hun!

God.. and when I thought I was full to the brim from
all the cakes and yummylicious food

I was surprised to this when I got home. More cakes?? (oh no)

But do I see ang-pows by the cheesecakes?
YAYYYYYYYY!!!!
Kakak was sweet enough to give me an ang-pow too

*mwah*

The last celebration of my 19th Burfday closed with a bang!

At the comfort of home.. thank goodness. =P

And last but never the least, the people who made my day virtually by the means of technology :

My fellow online social addicts -
Facebook

and of course, my online family -
ShoutOut

Lastly,
SMS & Calls
I can't possibly put them all here but whoever who called and texted me, you know who you are. It was very thoughtful guys =D

But ONE SMS in particular , came one day late!
Hmm... sent only on the 2nd of July but it caught my eye :

Birthday marks the passing of time on a personal level,
Another year passes by,
Another stage u go through,
Another set of candles u blew.
But ur still u.

Benjica still reigns supreme
And ur still taller than me,

Eventho ur older by a year,

Or even taller than an inch,
Some things never change.

Happy Belated Bday Jess
Sorry for being a day late

By my buddy Vincent Tan. *hugs*

In a 19 year old nutshell,
THANK YOU EVERYONE
SOSO MUCH~!

-signin out

Another round of celebrations next year around?

Toodles~!

♦ AAAAAAAAARRRRGHHHHHH

I hate him.

And if he reads this, I don't give a rat's ass.
(he won't read it anyway, he doesn't read blogs)
I'm merely stating how I feel since this is my blog,
I don't wanna hide it for I can't express it anywhere else

I can't stand the living daylight of you and
I never had from the day I met you.

I know it's unfair to hold such abhorrence against him.
It's filled with vehemence and yet I don't understand why.
It's a jumbled up cohesion of what you have done, are doing and is yet to do.

But then again, I don't need to justify why I detest you.

Just go away
. And stop coming into the picture all the time.
You're an interference.
the interruption

Just leave.
And keep your matters to yourself.
You're the issue.
my predicament

I despise you.
..always had =(

I couldn't have ever wrote this clearer enough.
you know, seriously. I'm so fed up and I can't be bothered anymore.
It's brimming inside me... so much to say but all bottled up

and if you think you know who it is, then that's only what you think
I did not mention any names.

gosh. that felt so much better.
ahhh.

♦ watch it peeps!!

FINALLY!!
Now that almost everything is over and done with, this marks that the Final Exams are coming our way. Sheesh.

The whole week has been a week of Live Radio Shows!
There were altogether 3 teams producing 6 live shows

Let's take a peek at the other teams before coming to mine alrightey? =D

First up were -

Theme: Fitness

DJs

I participated in one of their games too =D

Theme: Back 2 School

DJs

The "kids"
=p =p =p

pics grabbed from FaceB

Then it was the second team's turn -

Theme: Supernatural

Alamak. I'm haunted by them

The emcees and I

Bestie pontianak Joyce flanked by Gav & I

Theme: Hollywood

Paris & Nicole

Superman & James Bond

Pics grabbed from FaceB

Then.. *drumroll* it was our team's turn - WOOT WOOT!

As mentioned - here, the 1st day was themed 'Vegas Nite' and the 2nd day was 'Arabian Nites'. Check out the posters I did in that green link =D *wheee*

Premier jour : Vegas Nite

Pheewit! Most of my frens said that the props & decor were really nice!

the pyramid of cards I built!
&
our handmade life-sized die

Preps the night before
My life-sized cards for decor and labelling them for games
&
Sheryn drawing the camel for the Arabian Nites theme

more decor on the walls
Every Vegas theme must have the bar!

My black bar table and Carlsberg glasses
It helps that Dad was a pub manager! =D

Our crew was all dressed up too

Smart-lookin producer

Cat & myself
Get ready for a nite in Vegas!

Looks like the effort in aesthetic values paid off.
Their compliments made me smile lots~!

Anyway, that's not AS important as how we performed though.

I guess we did just OKAY on the first day. It was our 1st time, so yeah.
The sounds were too pitchy, song volume wasn't loud enough. After the post-mortem of the 1st day, we were expected to improve and perform better on the 2nd.

We organized a Drinking Competition too
on your marks, get set, GO!!

gosh.
Reminds me of that night in Momo when I fell ill. =/

Su Yang puking!
Jazz & her fren almost threw up as well

AND WE HAVE A WINNER!
enjoy your free movie Mike!

Next game session was Charades - a pretty common game.

But we made it a Vegas one as the actions are all
attached to the life-sized gamblin card

many thanks to Leo, the actor of the day!
oh and, the answer to this one is 'Chicken Little'
He's acting the 'Chicken' part of it first

Gavin deep in thoughts trying to guess the actions
or is he trying to look up someone's sheer top?

Anyone guessed it yet?

The winner - Andrea Tee, collected the most point for the most accurate answers and yes, the prizes for today's game was GSC tickets, DiGi reload cards, vouchers.

But in JAM.FM everyone's a winner
so they ALL get goodie bags and a free drink at the bar!

PICTURE OF THE DAY

need I say more? =P
So adorably wrong

a la Las Vegas!

Toodles!

deuxième jour : Arabian Nites

As expected, the 2nd day was so much better than the 1st day even some people even said it was good! Boy, I hope Mr. Ken feels the same.

buddy Ivan & I camwhoring

Hey! How come I didn't realize Aizad joined this picture?

DJ Cat & DJ Sher for their session

This time, Nads was my co-emcee
During the games session, we had 'Pin the Tail on the Camel', our Arabian Nites take on the common 'Pin the Tail on the Donkey'

but.... WHERE'S THE TAIL???

well um.
I had some camel action last nite which explains what the tail is doing with me.
NOT.
ewwwww

eh. wrong way la dei.

But somehow, you made it!
YAY

Mabel feelin the poor camel's arse

Uh-oh! All that camel action must've looked wrong didn't it, Daniel?

whooops!

When it was our call again, Nads & I hosted another game - Magic Carpet Ride.
Our Arabian Nites version of the 'Newspaper Game'

Hmm.. Carpet is getting smaller and smaller peeps!

TOO SMALL??

KABOOM!!
When the momentum of action brings you a forceful reaction!

JATUH TERPELANTING
=D

WHAT ARE YOU STARING AT?
Now that BOTH our Live Radio Show's are over,
all I can hope and pray is that Mr. Ken gives us good grades & marks for it!

Arabian princesses bidding you a goodbye!
eleh

Hmm.. our show marks the end of it.

♦ RADIO airwaves

Wheeeeeeee....
entering the week of doom; where all final presentations & assignments are due.

*jengjengjeng*

Tough luck! But the final hurdle's not over yet!
I guess, before it's too late and before I switch to -N E R D- mode a week before the exams, I just wanna holla that Radio Production is my favourite subject this semester!

Credits goes out to Mr. Ken - our Radio Production lecturer
He's also part of the (fellow mass commers would know this) sarcastic madness!

I introduce you, Mr. Neoh Soon Ken
(Wendy, I think you have a similar picture of him)

And our dearest radio & sound techician - Mr. Heng

Who sat by us patiently and was always there for us if we needed
assistance during our recordings and practice sessions..

Cat & Nads squeezing Mr. Heng tight

I never get to say this enough but, from all of us in JAM.FM Version 9:
we love youuuuuu~!!!!

We have sssssso much fun in the studio and those times when we were under tremendous pressure were (if I have to say so myself) the bestest times of all, working together.

I know, the biggest one is yet to come (this Thursday & Friday) but still, all the times where we stayed back till 7pm in the recording studio & even begging Mr. Heng to give us some extension time were tough fun.

And all the times where bestie Joyce skipped Tuesday classes to join our Wednesday classes

Hurrah! The more the merrier

We shall move on to the VVIPS.
The peeps in my radio station - PWN.FM.

Ruebni!
She's always been there for me in times in need but apart from that we always seem to have fun and joke around. This bubbly chick was also in the same drama as I was which was held last year. Sweet natured but have the ability to freak out if neccessary.

Rue dear & her humanpet Ivan
Love ya woman! =)

Now, who could have the supernatural ability to make my blood boil but is *sigh* STILL retardedly adorable all the same? My former colleague in G2000, neighbour (sort of) and one of my dearest classmates :

Check out my C-Box on the top right of my blog.
He spammed it. That's right.
OH IVAN CHEAH JOOOOO SIANG

Which leaves us down to one more person in my radio station yet to be mentioned.
Raguuuuuu Dhanagopal (did I get this right Ragu?) teehee.
He's a great friend, and a good reliable person in our group. He is aVisual-Kei absorbed and a die-hard liverpool fan.

What's your secret Ragu?

Care to turn the paper around to show us?

*

*

*

Umm... wow.

Nope, I was only kidding.
Ragu the versatile -

With him around, dare you enter KDU's school of communication?
YOU BETTER!

oh lookie! Another ghoul in the house!
Did Halloween come early this year?

Ghost of Christmas Past - Nadia!
woooooooooooooooooo

Poor Sheryn!

CORNERED!
OWNED!

Apart from the 'Fantastic Four' in PWN.FM, there are also other fab peeps who make Radio Production classes double triple quadruple the fun!

The 'Wednesday' JEANS peeps

And more 'Wednesday' peeps

Now what about the 'Tuesday' peeps? Well, we haven't taken our whole JAM.FM V9's family photo yet. So I guess, this will have to suffice first! =D

Karyn! Look!
LOOOOOOK
=)

In the end....

After all the madness & laughter,
The massive bomb we will achieve,
So let's say a lil silent prayer,
Our best & efforts is what we believe!

Yes, gogogo JAM.FM V9!

Do come and give us support if you may =)
Pretty Please?

It's THIS Thursday & Friday at 1pm
in KDU College Cafeteria

THURSDAY THEME - VEGAS NIGHT

FRIDAY THEME - ARABIAN NIGHTS

and 3... 2... 1...
WE'RE ON A TAKE!

♦ epo folks surprise!

Surprise surprise! My folks from Epo came down for a surprise visit after Goddy returned from her Yogyakarta trip. As mentioned, she went to Yogyakarta or a.k.a JogJa.

That's where those ancient ruins are located, like Candi Borobudur, Candi Prambanan, the Stupas and the like. Hmm.. this rings a bell! Where the HighSchool History comes kickin' in =D Remember?

Wow she brought back so many souvenirs from our neighbouring country, Indonesia. Yay Sweetheart & I got a matching JogJa tshirt! Mum got a authentic-looking blouse, Aunt BeeLiew got batik purses, Gramps got a box of DoiDoi (I think it's some kind of food, if I'm not wrong)

Oh and....
THE INDONESIAN LAYER CAKE WAS FAB!
Until kakak put them in the toaster, of course. =(

It became as hard as a cracker and from being the original cuboid shape, it turned into this funny curve shape now. How sad.

Anyway, Kakak was thrilled to know that Goddy went on a trip to her beloved home-land. =) Well kak, I must say that Indonesia is indeed a beautiful country from all those videos Goddy showed us.

Sadly though, we all had to tilt our heads to watch it
as she had forgotten to rotate it the right side up

Well, not only mum & Sweetheart had their heads tilted.
MINE WAS TOO!

Only the both of us got the floor sitting in this home-cinema. =(
The only reason I can think of is because we're at the bottom rung of the age hierarchy. Let the elders sit on the couches, no? =)

Floor so what? As long as we get to watch Goddy's Yogyakarta movies!

Floor creatures.

After all that tilting, our necks seem to have given way
Wow. Mum caught this on camera while we were
watching the videos!
(not bad stealth-mode mum!)

haha. Gentle, boy. Gentle. =)

LOL. After all the diagonal and horizontal viewing, we headed to Secret Recipe for dinner - the right side up!

Here were some of what we had that night-

My faves!
When the meals arrived we were already parched. XD That's what you get after saving your stomach the whole afternoon. Look at dear ol' Uncle Mike, taxing Goddy's meal!

Good things come to those who wait
Patience is a virtue
